Shahrukh Khan Meets Raj Thackeray For Raees Release

After the URI attacks that killed 19 Indian soldiers on 18th September and the surgical strikes by Indians on Pakistani terror camps, the MNS ( Maharashtra Navnirman Sena ) protested to stop casting Pakistani actors in Indian movies. There was a huge protest to stop the release of Karan Johar's '' Ae Dil Hai Mushkil '' which features Pakistani actor Fawad Khan and Shahrukh Khan's '' Raees '' which cast Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. MNS protested before release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil but relented after Devendra Fadnavis brokered for peace.
Bollywood Superstar Shahrukh Khan met MNS Chief Raj Thackeray on Sunday evening. King Khan met Raj Thackeray to clear the rumors, and assured that Pakistani actress Mahira Khan who is in lead role Raees will not be coming to India for promotions. Shahrukh also assured that he will not be casting any Pakistani actors in his future films.
MNS Chief Ameya Khopkar told, '' Shah Rukh Khan met Thackeray at his residence a short while ago and gave this assurance. He has also committed to not engaging any Pakistani actors in any of his future film ventures.''

Ameya Khopkar also clarified that the MNS will not oppose the 25 January release or screening of Raees in cinema halls.
