Bollywood Legendary Actor Om Puri Passes Away

Bollywood's Legendary and Veteran actor Om Puri passed away on Thursday night because of massive heart attack. The actor was 66 years old. Puri returned to home after shoot at Thursday evening. On Friday morning when his driver rang the door bell it went unanswered, following which he raised the alarm. One of Om Puri's close friend Ashok Pandit confirmed the news through Twitter. He wrote, ''Omji suffered from a massive heart attack in the morning today. We have just reached his residence.''

He also tweeted, '' Sad & shocked to know that versatile actor Om Puri jee has expired due to heart attack early morning today. #RIP.''

Bollywood is shocked and Sad after hearing the news. Om Puri was born on 18th October 1950. He is also be seen in Pakistani, British and Hollywood movies. The actor has received an OBE as well as Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India. Puri was married to Nandita Puri in the year 1993. However, the separated in 2013, together they have a son named Ishaan.
