Seems like controversies have worked great for Padmavati. The Epic Historical movie Padmavati gained a huge audience support from the controversies and also created a excitement for others. The long excitement finally got its end on 25 January 2018. Padmavati got its name changed to Padmavat and got released around the world. The movie got a great start in Mumbai, South India, and Northern Regions.But getting banned in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, and Haryana. But still, Bhansali's Padmavat is in the race to become one of the highest grosser of all time, after 'Baahubali 2. Performance of Shahid Kapoor, Deepika Padukone won the hearts of many and Looks of Ranveer Singh stunned the audience. 

Padmavat made success all over the world, In North America, the movie earned $ 5 million in the first week. The movie also became the highest opening weekend of Bollywood movies overseas. Here is the day-wise collection of Padmavat at the Bollywood box office:
