The Great Father is Malayalam family-thriller movie. The movie has collected Rs 4.31 Crore in its 1st day of release in Kerala and now holds the record for the highest firstday collection ever at Kerala box office, beats previous first day collection of kabali and Pulimurugan. The movie is based on father-daughter relationship. The movie starts in Mumbai where David Ninan ( Mammootty) is a successful builder. He lives happily with his wife Michelle ( Sneha ) and their daughter Sarah ( Baby Anikha ) who is considered gutsy by her classmates. Happy life of David turns up side down when an unexpected incident takes place in Sara's life. Similar incidents happens in other parts of city. Now David comes out to trace the criminal.
