Cho Ramaswamy Passes Away

True multi faceted personality Senior political satirist Srinivasa Iyer Ramaswamy, popularly known as Cho Ramaswamy died on Wednesday on Apollo hospitals Chennai at the age of 82. Ramaswamy was ill was past few years. Ramaswamy was close friend of Jayalalithaa, who died on Monday night and He died at 3.30 am on Wednesday 07/12/2016.
Ramaswamy was admitted in Apolla Hospitals on November because of chronic obstructive pulmonary disorder. Later when his condition started worsening he was moved to intensive care unit. Tuesday afternoon he watched Jayalalithaa funeral.
Ramaswamy lived with his Wife Soundara Ramaswamy, daughter Sindhu, son Rajivakshan alias Sriram in MRC Nagar Chennai. His body was shifted to his residence and funeral has been scheduled on Wednesday.

Ramaswamy was Founder and Editor of popular Political magazine Thuglak. In magazine he criticised about State and Central Government. He was a multi talented person he was Law Graduate, play writer, He was also a actor and acted in more than 100 films. He was seen with many popular stars like MG Ramachandran, Sivaji Ganesan, Jayalalithaa, Kamal Hassan, Rajinikanth and others. He was also a good Cricket player and played for BRC cricket club which played in the II division of Madras Cricket Association in the 1950's.
